On February 17-26, 2012, AventuraShopping Mall celebrated the Carnival Season and presented a promo campaign “Collect the Sun—Get a Present!”. The promo continued the tradition of holding family events in the new medium-size shopping mall by Capital Group. It ended on February 26 with the Carnival Celebrations—the wide-scale family festival, providing the visitors with the opportunity to not only get a guaranteed present at the Prize Distribution Center, but also take part in the bold entertaining program for both kids and parents.

Within the promo campaign “Collect the Sun—Get a Present” in the course of the Carnival Week the residents and guests of Severnoe Chertanovo district got colored stickers (the “sun rays”) for each 100+ rub. purchase made in any zone of the shopping mall, from footwear and accessories shops to the food court and the multiplex. According to the terms of the campaign, each visitor who had gathered 10 “rays” of different colors, got a Carnival-related present, and took part in the Superprize Draw.

The Carnival Celebrations program also included folkloric songs in the new arrangement performed by modern bands, rocking dances and traditional circle-dances around Carnival Jack-Straw, couplets competition and tug-of-war, and the bear performance—the inevitable part of Russian celebrations. Besides, this day the festive master classes were organized for the little visitors and their parents (gingerbread paintings, making dolls and accessories, etc.), as well as a puppet show, professional make-up artist consultations for moms and daughters, and many other events.
